We believe that children simply learn better when they are fully engaged, highly motivated, and having fun.
At ClubAnglais, we have a passion for kids. We start working with kids as early as 18 months and we work with them until age 14, and sometimes beyond.
At ClubAnglais we focus exclusively on teaching English to children. That's all we do; and so we strive to be the very best at it.
Because our approach to teaching English is so unique, we have built our curriculum from the ground up to make sure everything we do is consistent with our fun, engaging approach to teaching children.
The growing demand for English language instruction in North Africa, along with a variety of characteristics about ClubAnglais, result in the potential for growth. Someday we hope that ClubAnglais will positively impact communities all across North Africa.
Our vision starts with children ages eighteen months through fourteen years. We hope that someday the children we serve will be scattered all across North Africa, from the Atlantic Coast of Morocco to the shores of the Red Sea in Egypt. Our primary objective is to help children learn English, and to do it with such excellence that many of them reach near-native fluency before the age of fourteen. During this process we hope that we can play a role in shaping these young lives.
Our mission is not simply to transmit information, but to engage students in the learning process in a variety of positive, encouraging ways. We aspire to connect personally with our students to provide a wholistic, nurturing, and safe learning environment. We pay careful attention to our students’ attitudes and motivations, as well as their cognitive development. We believe that as we do these things, we will have an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the children we serve. In order to accomplish this we pay careful attention to four particular aspects of our pedagogical model:
In the same way that we aspire to transform the lives of our students in positive ways, we also hope to help transform the communities we serve. We seek to build relationships with the families of our students so we can include them in the learning process and ensure that we are doing our best to meet their needs.
In PK1 we support and encourage the development of the children in the areas of self-regulation, positive relationships and group participation.
In PK2 we build on the growth from PK1 by helping the children develop independence in practical ways. We also support their ability to express emotions verbally and develop empathy for others in their class. We do all of this while introducing them to basic concepts of pre-literacy and mathematics.
In PK3 much of the focus is on a sense of community and belonging. Following instructions while learning to express ideas to the rest of the class is supported alongside increased growth in literacy, pre-writing and mathematics skills.
In PK4 our final goal is to prepare our students to transition to Kindergarten at the end of the year. These preparations do not only focus on the academic skills needed, such as literacy, writing and mathematics, but also in the areas of honesty, empathy, teamwork and self-confidence.
Preschool Club consists of a variety of age-appropriate, hands-on, fun activities. Students are completely immersed in English for 3 hours. At first they mostly listen. As the program progresses students produce language through speaking and singing.
In Adventure Club we do our very best to make sure that all of our students participate in activities that they are truly passionate about. We change activities every four weeks to keep things fresh and exciting. Students also participate in a Language Club where they have an opportunity to work on reading and writing.
Every year we dedicate the 2nd half of June to our Preschool Camp. Over the span of 2 weeks, kids between the ages of 2 and 5 years old can be part of an immersive full day learning program.
Daily sessions take place from 9AM to 5PM with a lunch break and a nap time in the middle of the day.
The kids learn through fun and engaging activities, centered around themes appropriate to each age group.
Every summer ClubAnglais holds two intensive two-week Power Camp sessions for children ages 6-14 y.o. The camps schedule is from Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 4:00pm.
We teach English through fun, engaging activities such as sports, games, swimming, woodworking, music, art and drama.
This all-day immersion approach is an excellent way for your child to make rapid progress in learning English.
